RSL Girl in a Million Quest celebrates 50 years on the Sunshine Coast

Sunshine Coast Deputy Mayor, Cr Tim Dwyer will officially launch the RSL Girl in a Million 50th anniversary celebrations on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday 24 September at the Caloundra council chambers.

The launch will pay tribute to the thousands of young women who, for over 50 years have gained personally and professionally from their involvement with one of Queensland’s longest running quests.

Councillor Dwyer encourages Sunshine Coast women to enter the quest to help raise much needed funds for the veteran community.

Queensland RSL Deputy President, Mr Terry Meehan, past RSL Girl in a Million and Golden Girl winners, RSL Sub Branch Presidents and supporters of the Quest from the Sunshine Coast District will attend the launch.

Sunshine Coast RSL District President, Mr Les D’Alton, 2008 Sunshine Coast RSL Girl in a Million Finalist, Miss Cassandra Heilbronn and the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast RSL Regional Fundraiser, Mrs Melinda Crowhurst will speak at the launch.
