Reality Bites writers raring to go
  • Wednesday 03 June 2009

In the lead up to this weekend’s start of Australia’s only non-fiction literary festival - Reality Bites - four local literary favourites will be on-hand to share some of the unique stories they will bring to the festival.

Surf writer Phil Jarratt, poet and recording artist Geoffrey Datson, documentary filmmaker Luke Barrowcliffe, and writer and Reality Bites program director Annette Hughes are part of the local contingent to make up the pool of 33 authors from around the country attending the Coast-based festival.

A photo opportunity will take place at Embiggen Books in Noosaville, where writers will be available to answer questions from media, together with details from the festival organisers.

Reality Bites is a local literary festival running over five weekends from 6 June to 2 August. The festival kicks off this weekend with a ‘learn to blog’ session. People can learn the basics of this easy-to-use social networking tool from a panel of experts at St Teresa’s School in Noosaville.
