Sunshine Coast Libraries have united with the Maison de Provence and author adventurer Linda Anderson to present an afternoon of story telling and high tea with style.

Escape to Cooroy for an afternoon of fine food and an inspirational tale on Wednesday 31 August from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Melissa Tong, Cooroy Library Coordinator said that they wanted to present one of the library’s regular author talks at Maison de Provence to provide people with a unique literary and social experience.

"Our featured author is Linda Frylink Anderson who will entertain you with her tales of sailing the seven seas.

"It’s a story of battling gales and sailing through the world’s pirate hot spots; of exploring exotic and remote communities and integrating with the locals; and of experiencing the vastness of the great oceans and making new friends at each destination," Melissa said.

Afternoon high tea at Maison de Provence will include a hot drink and the best of freshly made French delicacies and petit fours.

Tickets are $20 and numbers are limited so book in early on 5454 9000 or at the Library website
