Shape up with Heart Foundation’s Baby Brigade Pram Walks
  • Tuesday 13 April 2010

Calling all mums who want their pre-baby bodies back.

Baby Brigade has teamed up with the Heart Foundation and Kidfit to run free Pram Walks across the Coast. This initiative is a great opportunity for busy new mums and dads to socialise with other like-minded parents, while getting outdoors and enjoying some exercise.

Heart Foundation-funded walking is Australia’s largest network of free community-based walking groups. Sunshine Coast Council already supports over 60 walks that occur each week across the Coast. And now Pram Walks can be added to the list.

Pram Walks are happening the last Friday of every month, with the first one kicking off Friday 30 April at 8am at Moffat Beach. Parents are encouraged to meet outside the Taste of Bliss cafe– half-price coffee will be available at the end of the walk.

Walks will take around 45 minutes to one hour and will be in flat, pram-friendly areas.

A range of activities such as baby book making and mural making will be included in the walks.

Checklist : baby, pram, hat, water bottle and sense of adventure!
