Could your business benefit from more training and support services and a more highly skilled workforce?
If so, make a date with the Industry Skills Fund Growth Stream Workshop on Wednesday July 15, from 10am to noon at the Lake Kawana Community Centre.
Economic Development Portfolio Councillor Stephen Robinson said the Council-supported event would provide an overview of the Industry Skills Fund and case studies of business that have received assistance.
“There will also be examples provided of how the fund can be utilised by businesses in South-East Queensland,” Cr Robinson said.
“Participants will also have the opportunity to network and have one-on-one consultations with a departmental officer or skills adviser to discuss how the Industry Skills Fund can support the growth of their business.”
The Industry Skills Fund assists industry in training and support services and developing innovative training solutions. It can help businesses build a more highly skilled workforce to take advantage of new business growth opportunities and adapt to technological change.
