Slow down and enjoy life
  • Wednesday 23 April 2014

Join well-known author Rhonda Hetzel at the free Living simple sessions at Sunshine Coast Council library branches during May and June 2014.

Rhonda Hetzel has a best-selling book and eBook published by Penguin, an award-winning blog with over 6.5 million hits and has been a monthly columnist for the Australian Women’s Weekly and Burke’s Backyard.

This popular session covers topics such as sustainability in the backyard, keeping chooks, growing fruit or vegetables and harvesting water from the roof.

Rhonda will also demonstrate the importance of debt reduction and living without waste and how these two concepts can be attained by cooking from scratch, shopping mindfully, recycling and reusing.

Rhonda will share her practical thoughts about slowing down, living mindfully and finding happiness in everyday life.

Participants will develop new ways to think about their lives and learn how to identify priorities and create a plan for how they want to live.
