If you love the Glass House Mountains and enjoy meeting people, why not consider becoming a volunteer to promote the Sunshine Coast region?
The Sunshine Coast Council is looking for anyone interested in volunteering at the newly completed Glass House Mountains Visitor Information Centre.
Locals and those familiar with the area are invited to volunteer at the state-of-the-art centre that features interpretive signs and displays showcasing the area’s rich environmental and historical attractions.
Council is looking for people who enjoy being part of a team, can spare half a day per week or per fortnight and would like to meet new people.
Two information sessions are available for people interested in finding out more, or who would like to sign up as a volunteer.
The sessions are being held at:
Glasshouse Community Centre - Coonowrin Rd, Glass House Mountains
Thursday 15 January: 9am – 1pm or
Friday 23 January: 9am – 1pm
There is no need to RSVP and morning tea will be provided. If you would like more information, please contact Visitor Information Centre Supervisor Karen Ransley on 5420 8008 or 1800 644 969.
