Sunshine Coast Council announces the first professional Live Theatre Season at Sunshine Coast Venues in 2012.

Sunshine Coast Venues include the J in Noosa, Lake Kawana Community Centre and Nambour Civic Centre.

A diverse and engaging program including local performers and some of the country’s finest actors and theatre companies will be presented at the venues.

There is a wide range of entertainment to choose from in 2012 including comedy from the Melbourne Comedy Festival, The Kransky Sisters, Australian gothic drama, musical cabaret and romantic comedy by David Williamson.

Entertainment for youngsters is also on offer, featuring dinosaurs and swashbuckling pirates.

There is nothing like the excitement of live theatre, where you can be moved to tears, or experience laughter and sheer joy in the space of a couple of hours.

Subscribers receive great savings on ticket prices, get priority seating and have the chance to meet the stars at some of the performances.
