Teens are wanted to read and win in July
  • Tuesday 31 May 2016
ImageEvery July is teenReadmonth for 12 to 18-year-old bookworms or casual readers at their favourite Sunshine Coast Council library.

Community Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said entering teenReadmonth was really easy.

“There are four easy steps and teens can then be in the running to win some fantastic prizes,” Cr McKay said.

“Once again, in a partnership with Voices on the Coast Youth Literature Festival, there is also a school Box of books prize.

“Entrants simply nominate their school to go in the running to win a big box of books donated by Voices on the Coast for their school library.

“The more books you read the more chances you have to win.”

1. Become a member of Sunshine Coast Libraries if you aren’t already
2. Register for teenReadmonth online or in person at your local library
3. Read five items (books, eBooks, magazines, manga or graphic novels)
