  • Tuesday 29 April 2014

To learn more about Sunshine Coast Council’s endeavour to become carbon neutral by 2020 attend the free Clean Energy Transition sessions at library branches during May and June 2014.

The ‘traditional energy’ era is evolving as the world switches to cheaper, cleaner alternatives.

Join Sunshine Coast Council’s Senior Economic Development Officer Chris Guthrie to find out more about community targets to install substantial sustainable clean energy capacity by 2020. Learn how the changes will have a positive impact on our local environment.

At this session you will also find out more about sustainability projects including a solar farm at Valdora, the use of photovoltaic solar for council business, energy and grid management projects and biodiesel fleet cars. Discover how council is leading the way towards a sustainable, carbon neutral future.
