‘Thylacine Man’ author speaks at Caloundra Library
  • Thursday 07 May 2009

Sunshine Coast author Noel Tuckey will be at the Caloundra Library on Monday 18 May at 10am to talk about his new book ‘Thylacine Man’.

Thylacine Man is the first fiction novel for Mr Tuckey, an acclaimed freelance motoring journalist and commentator since 1976.

Based on the presumed extinction of the Tasmanian Tiger – the ‘thylacine’ of the title – the story blurs fact with fiction to create a work that weaves environmental issues, politics, and multi-national oil search barons into an eco-thriller.

Mr Tuckey will discuss his book and guests will be able to get a signed copy.

Bookings are essential and if you would like to attend the event and meet Mr Tuckey, please call the library on 5491 1255 to secure your place.
