Glasshouse Country Menshed, community grants

If your not-for-profit community group has some great projects planned, but doesn’t have the funding, Sunshine Coast Council’s grant programs might be able to help. Be quick though as time is running out.

Applications are now open for two grant programs:

  • Community Grants – Major Grants, and
  • Environment Levy Grants program.

The Community Grants Program offers not-for-profit community groups up to $30,000 in financial assistance for projects, activities and events that benefit Sunshine Coast communities.

Environment Levy Grants are available for up to $5000 to help not-for-profit community-based organisations fund projects that make a positive and ongoing contribution to the region’s biodiversity and waterways.

Applications for council’s Community Grants – Major Grants program and the Environment Levy Grants program will close at 5pm on Monday, August 1.

Visit the Grants page for eligibility criteria and application forms.

For further information or to discuss your project, contact a grants officer on 5420 8616.
