Start Cycling, Stay Cycling program

Tomorrow will see the launch of a new fitness program exclusively for women, to improve health, fitness - and cycling skills!

The Start Cycling, Stay Cycling program is five weeks long and is designed to give participants the necessary knowledge, skills and motivation to adopt cycling as a lifelong active recreational pursuit.

It's a joint State Government and Sunshine Coast Council initiative, and it will be launched tomorrow morning at Cotton Tree Park, so if you happen to be in the area, taking some exercise, be just west of the Cotton Tree Swimming Pool about 8,.45am where National Parks, Recreation, Sport & Racing Minister Steve Dickson will be joined by council's transport infrastructufre Manager Jim McGuire.
