Sunshine Coast Council libraries offer a great range of activities and events - many free - for our community. The following is a summary of events taking place in Noosa Library during August.

Details:  Session Presenter is Anne Marie Box, a psychologist with extensive experience in cognitive psychology. This self-development workshop helps people to build resilience, confront anxiety and depression, discover ways to reduce the stresses of everyday living and develop a learned optimism for life.

What:  Edgar Cayce: Going Within
When:  Thursday 18 August 2.00pm - 4.00pm, afternoon tea will be provided

Details: This workshop expands on the work of Edgar Cayce, the most documented psychic of the 20th century, famously known worldwide as 'the sleeping prophet'.

Participants will view a DVD outlining Edgar Cayce's Meditation technique followed by Meditation Practice led by Ron Yates. Ron has recently presented talks across Sunshine Coast Libraries focusing on the life of Edgar Cayce.

Details:  Regular meditation reduces stress, improves health and unlocks creativity. Roslyn is a talented practitioner, working in a number of modalities including reiki and cranio-sacral balancing. Please wear comfortable clothing. You are welcome to bring your own cushion and rug.
