scene workshop

Sponsorship strategies and event evaluation will be on the agenda at the Sunshine Coast Events Network (scene) educational workshop to be held at Mooloolaba Surf Club from 1.30pm on Wednesday, October 15.

Open to all involved with events, Sunshine Coast Council’s scene program is aimed at those who are new to the events industry, are looking to run a new event or would like to further develop existing events or skill sets.

The final scene workshop for 2014 entitled value add promises to please with two professional industry presenters primed to share their experience.

Kicking off the day will be Lenny Vance from Advanced Sponsorship Marketing.

Lenny is a well-respected leader in the sponsorship marketing field, specialising in strategy development, partnership management, campaign development and implementation.

Then back by popular demand is David Gration, event management lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

David is a guru in all things events. He will focus on post-event evaluations including what to measure, how to measure and why?

Bookings for the workshop are essential. Cost to attend is $30 per person and $25 for students or pensioners, including a delicious afternoon tea.
