Vandalism costs ratepayers thousands
  • Friday 05 December 2008

Councillor Christian Dickson will inspect the excessive vandalism of native bushland in Mountain Creek tomorrow, before a $2,000 clean-up begins.

Contractors will start work on the site, where vandals have cut down large trees, damaged vegetation, and littered the area. Mountain Creek is one of several local reserves where excessive vandalism is hampering revegetation works, and costing ratepayers thousands.

Cr Dickson will inspect the site at 10.30am as a first step towards tackling the problem.
