A Noosaville medical communications company last night took out a major export award.

Proscribe has won the Regional Exporters Award at the Premier’s Export Awards which took place at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane.

Mayor Mark Jamieson has congratulated the company on its win.

“Proscribe, established in 2000, is a specialist company in medical communications,” he said.

“As you can imagine, that’s a very specific and detailed area of medical operations – it’s something you never want to get wrong.”

The company, while based in Noosaville, also has staff located in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, the Mayor said.

“A significant part of the Coast’s Regional Economic Development Strategy 2013-2033 is to substantially raise our export levels – and it is companies like Proscribe who are leading that charge,” he said,

“I congratulate the Proscribe team on their efforts and their recognition through this award is justly deserved.”
